Tim Burton and his achievement (awards)

Is Tim Burton and his work acknowledged in movie society? The answer is: yes it's. Tim Burton and his works have gotten a lot of nominations and won awards- most of them are first places. His first nomination and at the same time win wad in 1984 at Ottawa International Animation Festival- He got this for his first released animation "Vincent" from 1982 and it was given in category of Audience Award. The newest nomination he got is Globes de Cristal Awards in 2017 for his newest film "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" from 2016 in category of The Best Foreign Movie. His latest win is Tokyo International Film Festival award from 2014.  As for his biggest achievements we can add: the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award at the 64th Venice International Film Festival and being President of the Jury 63rd annual Cannes Film Festival, which happened 12-24 May in 2010 in Cannes. I hope to see him achieving another awards- I think that he fully deserves this.

  1. It's a pity this is basically just a list of awards. It would be more interesting if you focused on the ones he values most (or least) or mentioned films which caused controversy in the film world.
