Tim Burton is well known for his specific art style. It developed within his age. Art is important for him- ever since he was kid he had bizarre imagination and only way to express his thoughts and ideas was by drawing. All his movies started with simple sketches- with them he could build all new world. His art consists of contraries- he can pull together light and darkness, funny with sad, etc. His works shows creativity of artist. He uses all kind of tools for his art: pastels, crayons, paints, markers, pens and pencils. He's art style is really amazing- is extravagant, unnatural while is somehow linked with reality and intriguing.
This post convince me, he's one of the most originally directors I know.
